Warning Of Fake Websites Offering Advice On Unplanned Pregnancies

The HSE is warning women about fake websites offering advice on unplanned pregnancies.

It comes just days after new laws on terminations came into effect.

It was always anticipated there would be a push back against new abortion legislation.

Now the HSE is warning women there are a number of rogue websites in operation using a similar name to their MyOptions helpline.

It comes as pro-choice campaigners criticise the anti-abortion protesters who demonstrated outside a GP clinic.

A small number of people stood outside a practice in Galway city holding anti-abortion signs yesterday.

The HSE is advising people to look for their logo when seeking any information online - look for the official logo.
