Two Penneys Stores Will Open For A 24-Hour Period Tomorrow

Penneys will reopen its doors tomorrow as a result of the country returning to level three restrictions.

They've announced new opening hours to ensure everyone has plenty of time to stock up for the festive season.

For the first time ever, two of their stores in Dublin will open for a 24-hour period.

The Dundrum Town Centre and Blanchardstown Centre locations will open at 7am until closing time on Wednesday.

Penneys stores in city centres and major shopping centres will open until 10pm on weekdays.

While shops in towns and town shopping centres will stay open until 9pm on weekdays.

Only a certain amount of people will be allowed in at a time so be prepared to queue.

All stores will have extensive measures in place to allow customers to safely shop.

There will be social distancing rules in place, Perspex screens at tills and hand sanitisation stations set up.

It's also compulsory that all staff members and customers wear face masks in store.

Penneys CEO, Paul Marchant released the following statement:

'We are delighted to re-open our stores in Ireland on 1st December with longer shopping hours to give our customers more time to safely do their festive shopping.'

'We have everything this season that our customers expect from Penneys, including our famous Christmas jumpers, festive pyjamas and much, much more.'

'All of our extensive safety measures remain in place to help ensure shopping at Penneys is an enjoyable, safe experience for everyone.'

Don't forget to wear a mask if you're heading out tomorrow.
