Two In Court Over Separate Limerick Coughing Incidents

A man has appeared before Limerick District Court charged in connection with allegedly coughing on a shop worker.

The incident is reported to have taken place at a SPAR on Henry Street last night.

28-year-old Jeffrey Kelly was charged with assault causing harm to Andrrezj Stradomski.

Mr Kelly "made no reply" when charged.

In court today, he was remanded in custody to Limerick Prison and will appear in court again on Friday.

Second Unrelated Case In Limerick

A fourteen year old boy was charged with assault causing harm yesterday too.

That's after allegedly coughing on a shop-keeper while claiming he had Coronavirus.

The youth was remanded on bail to appear before Limerick Children's Court again on October 15th.
