The Worst Jobs For Lack Of Sleep Revealed

Motherhood is the job where people are most likely to get the worst amount of sleep.

According to a survey by the mattress brand Sealy, around 25% of mums average less than 5 hours worth of sleep per night, which is well below the recommended 7-9 hours.

Around 15,000 people were surveyed on their occupation and the amount of sleep they get, with 77% of us overall not getting enough sleep.

The research also found those in the transport, construction and communications sectors, all tend to sleep below the recommended amount, with one in five getting less than 5 hours sleep.

There's better news for people in the financial and banking sectors, as they're more likely to get the right amount of night-time snooze, as they get on average between 6 to 7 hours a night.
