Consulting firm WTW carried out the survey.

Almost three-quarters of employees in Ireland plan to stay in their job for the next two years.

A new survey has been carried out on Employee Attraction and Retention.

42 per cent of employees said retirement was high on their list of priorities.

Flexibility in the workplace was also seen as a bonus.

The survey also found that employees' well-being and job benefits are important factors.

Employee experience leader Sarah McDonough says benefits can be a range of things.

"Things like pensions, health insurance etc, play a really important role," she says.

"When benefits match employee's needs, employees are twice as likely to stay with their current employer."
