An advertising campaign has been launched to combat Russian forces using social media over fears of giving away military secrets.

Russian Military have published a poster depicting a Russian soldier saying ''No'' to a smartphone with the TikTok App logo on it.

The image has the Russian soldier saying ''HET!'' which is Russian for ''No'' and refusing to take the mobile phone.

Ukraine have also launched a project called ''Filter'' in an effort to raise awareness around Russian propaganda and disinformation.

Valeria Kovtum head of Filter in Ukraine says one of the priorities of the program is to teach Ukrainians how to tell the difference between fact and fiction and how to identify Russian Propaganda.

The Russian campaign is a modern day equivalent of the British WWII poster with the slogan ''The Walls Have Ears''.

Many Russian troops have posted images of military classified locations online which the Kremlin is trying to put a stop to.
