Revenue Seize Cocaine Worth Over €200,000 At Dublin Airport

Revenue officers have seized €210,000 worth of cocaine at Dublin Airport.

Three kilograms of the drug were found after baggage was searched.

Revenue officers stopped and checked the baggage from passenger who had gotten off a flight from Lisbon, Portugal.

A woman in her 20’s was arrested by An Garda Siochana.

She has been detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Officers are holding her at Ballymun Garda Station for questioning.

Ongoing Operations

A Revenue Spokesperson said:

"This seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the importation of drugs."
