A man has been arrested after a woman's body was found in Cork City.
Her body was discovered at around half six this morning.
The apartment, on Liberty Street, has been sealed off for forensic and technical examinations.
The woman in her 20s was found un-responsive at about half past six this morning.
She was pronounced dead shortly afterward.
A post mortem on her remains is due to take place today.
Gardaí arrested a man, also aged in his 20s, this morning, and he's currently being held at Bridewell Garda Station in the city.
