Limerick Company Tracworx Recieves Grant Award From The European Commission

Tracworx, based in Limerick, a patient and returnable asset tracking company announced that they have received the second tranche of funding from the EU Horizon 2020 Framework Programme.

The company achieved its primary objectives and milestones outlined in the initial award and has received the second tranche of funding from the EU Programme for SMEs.

Tracworx will use the funding to continue to support the company’s growth and expansion plans during 2021 and beyond.

Tracworx has raised more than €2.6m in funding to date.

Tracworx CEO, Chris Kelly commented:

“We are delighted to achieve the first set of milestones in the H2020 programme despite difficult trading conditions due to COVID-19. I am immensely proud of the Tracworx team in the way they have managed to pivot our core technology and launched a new product to safeguard businesses in Ireland, UK, Malta and the Canary Islands. We will use this momentum and the funding to bring new and exciting products to market in healthcare and the reusable packaging market ”.
