Ireland Name Squad For Summer Tour To USA And Japan

Joe Schmidt has named the Ireland squad that will tour the USA and Japan this Summer.

With a number of players unavailable through Lions duty, 8 uncapped players have been called up to the 31-man squad.

The players are Leinster trio Rory O'Loughlin, James Ryan and Andrew Porter, alongside Ulster's Jacob Stockdale and Kieran Treadwell, Connacht duo John Cooney and Dave Heffernan and Rory Scannell of Ulster.

A number of experienced players from Ireland's 6 Nations campaign are in the side, including Leinster's Garry Ringrose and Cian Healy, Munster wingers Simon Zebo and Keith Earls and Ulster out-half Paddy Jackson.
