Inter-county travel is set to return in June alongside the opening of the hospitality sector.

Minister Eamon Ryan has also suggested the nine euro meal will be scrapped whenever pubs are allowed to open their doors.

A cabinet sub-committee of Ministers will meet tonight.

They'll discuss the possibility of opening outdoor hospitality as early as the end of May.

Other sources believe it will be June before the likes of pubs open.

The Taoiseach was put under pressure by his party last night to reopen domestic tourism, including pubs soon.

Michéal Martin is due to unveil a roadmap to reopening tomorrow evening.
