The GAA is set to launch an investigation into a brawl at Sunday's All Ireland Senior Football quarter-final.

The large melee at the clash between Galway and Armagh is one of the focal points of the probe.

It included players, subs, backroom staff, and members of extended panels.

The brawl happened as the players headed back to the tunnel at the end of normal time.

Galway player Damien Comer's eye was allegedly gouged by a member of the Armagh panel.

The GAAs Central Competitions Control Committee is set to investigate the brawl today.
