Donald Trump Banned From Facebook And Instagram Until Further notice

Facebook and Instagram have indefinitely banned President Donald Trump.

Yesterday, the social media giant removed statements from the US President as they feared they were "likely to provoke further violence".

In a statement published on Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg said allowing President Trump to use his platforms poses "too great" of a risk.

He said the country’s priority must be to ensure the final 13 days of Mr Trump’s presidency are peaceful.

The inventor defended his company for providing the President with a social media platform over the years.

He said though he believes the public has "the right to the broadest possible access to political speech" the current situation is "fundamentally different”.

Meanwhile, the Donald deleted inflammatory tweets earlier today.

Twitter locked the outgoing president's account, saying it would only unlock it if his statements were removed.
