37 More People Have Died From Covid-19 In The Republic

A further 37 people have died with Covid-19 in the Republic.

265 new cases of the virus have also been confirmed.

In Germany, where nearly 7,000 have lost their lives, restrictions are being relaxed, allowing people from separate households to meet and resuming the Bundesliga soccer season.

Mouth and nose coverings must be worn on public transport.

In Wuhan in China, where Covid-19 first emerged, 57,000 students have gone back to school for exams.

Here, as of last night, 1,339 people have died, with 21,983 confirmed cases.
