James Bond gun collection stolen

It's been reported that a collection of James Bond guns in London have been stolen.

The guns were apparently taken from a home in Enfield last week.

All five weapons are believed to be worth over £100,000.

According to The Guardian, Detective Inspector Paul Ridley said, 'The firearms stolen are very distinctive and bespoke to particular James Bond movies.'

'They will almost certainly be recognised by the public and to anyone offered them for sale.'

'The owner is very upset that his address has been violated and he truly hopes to be re-united with these highly collectible items.'

The detective said many of the guns are, 'irreplaceable.'

'The Magnum is the only one ever made in which the whole gun is finished in chrome.'

'The Walther PPK was the last gun used by Roger Moore in A View to a Kill.'

The Beretta Cheetah and Tomcat pistols from Die Another Day were also stolen.

Alongside the Smith & Wesson .44 Magnum which featured in Live and Let Die and the Llama .22-calibre handgun from Die Another Day.

Anyone with information is being asked to come forward.
