130 Vacant Houses Across The Country To Be Auctioned Next Week
BidX1, the digital property investment platform, will auction more than 330 properties through its online platform next week, on 29th and 30th September.
The company, which was established in Ireland but has since expanded into multiple European markets, has released details of the upcoming sale, which could see more than €60 million worth of Irish property changing hands across the two days.
Jonathan Fenn, Head of Property at BidX1, commented:
“September is always a very busy time for us, but the initial asking prices in this catalogue alone total €63 million.
The proportion of vacant residential property, particularly family homes, will be a welcome boost to a supply-starved market.
We offer a number of different sale methods, but our digital auctions remain one of the most popular.
It’s a very efficient and transparent method of selling, with huge momentum building up to the day itself.
A very wide range of properties will be offered, from family homes in sought-after Dublin suburbs to coastal land with stunning views over Tremone Bay in Donegal, and even a former church.

64 per cent of the residential properties being offered by BidX1 are houses.
In total, more than 280 across the country will be offered at the auction, and more than 130 of those are currently vacant.
All 26 counties are represented in the catalogue, while 88 properties in Dublin will be offered.
Almost half of those are vacant houses, with an average guide price of €295,000.
Earlier this month, BidX1 was announced as one Ireland’s Best Managed Companies as part of an awards programme led by Deloitte and Bank of Ireland, which seeks to recognise excellence in private businesses across Ireland.
The Irish firm, which specialises in online property transactions, pioneered the first online auctions in Ireland in 2015 and has since brought the model further afield, offering property investments in Spain, South Africa, Cyprus and the UK on the platform.
