2018 has been a great year for music and Irish music.

Here is our list of the artist that we think are going to be big in 2019.

Lewis Capaldi

He has attracted attention from the likes of James BayEllie Goulding and Niall Horan. And he's also managed to get the attention of our very own Ed Roche.

100,000 FOLLOWERS. 💰I put a bag of money emoji because I'm about to make some serious fucking cash promoting tummy teas and teeth whitening kits, if you're a company who's looking to sex up their product look no fucking further, give me a call or suck a fat one (penis). It's about to rain dollar bills, picture me lying almost naked, oiled up to the fucking max on silk sheets with cold hard cash raining down on my glistening body. Then once ur finished climaxing enjoy this wholesome picture of me on the beach before my show yesterday in Brighton taking the time to reflect on all the lovely times I've talked about my shit or penis on instagram and you lot have loved it because ur all freaks. Anyway, hope you enjoy the picture I'll see you back here same time tomorrow, don't forget to subscribe and absolutely SMASH that like button! 💯 x 📸 - @breehart

He's had numerous singles in 2018 but 2019 look like it's going to be his year as he's already been nominated for Critics Choice Award for 2019.

He's yet to crack the Top 40 but Ed is certain 2019 will be his year!

Ryan Mack

Famous as one-sixth of the popular Irish boyband Hometown, Ryan Mack has now gone out on his own.

Releasing his hit, "I Don't Wanna'.

Mack has supported Wild Youth on Irish Dates as well as Aine Cahill & Sean and Conor Price.

Definitely, one to watch in the coming year!

True Tides

Formed in 2017 by 3 brothers from Cork. They have already racked up support roles for the Coronas for the sold-out shows in Olympia and Ulster hall and toured with Irish group All Tvvins.

2019 is going to be a huge year for these guys, with a big show in the makings as well as finishing off their album and the release of a new single coming in January.

When Young

A band from Limerick, now based in London have captured our hearts this year and we can only expect huge things from them in 2019. We've had this one on repeat!

Sam Fender

The 24-year-old from Newcastle in the UK recently debuted his Dead Boys EP and we love it! He has been praised for his lyrics which tackle hard-hitting subjects.

Josh Gray

Also from band, Hometown. Josh Gray recently opened for Rita Ora. Big things are coming from him in 2019.
