Summer's #1 Hit Music Station, SPIN, is thrilled to announce that Irish actress and comedian Faye Shortt is joining the station’s line-up later this month.
Faye will co-host evenings on SPIN 1038 and SPIN South West from 7–10pm, Monday to Thursday, and Saturday mornings on SPIN 1038 from 10am–12pm throughout the summer, teaming up with presenter and DJ Jamie Maguire.
The dynamic duo will hit the airwaves from 19th May, as Faye touches down fresh from her comedy tour in Australia.
A Limerick native, Faye trained at the renowned Gaiety School of Acting and Bow Street Academy for Screen Acting, establishing herself as a gifted and versatile performer.
She's widely recognized for her energetic stage presence and comedic timing, often seen in creative collaborations with her father, celebrated comedian Pat Shortt.
While candid about the "nepo baby" conversation, Faye emphasizes her commitment, professional training, and independent path in the entertainment industry.
Faye’s new co-host Jamie Maguire shared his excitement: “I’m absolutely buzzing to team up with Faye. She’s hilarious, super talented, and just great craic. We’re going to have so much fun with this show—I know listeners will too! The countdown has begun!”.
