Yes, you read that correctly!

Domhnall Gleeson, Graham Norton and Cillian Murphy are starring in Taylor Swift's latest music video.

Taylor released the video for her song “Opalite” from The Life of a Showgirl today.

And much to fan's surprise, it has a very star-studded and very Irish cast.

Speculation  began building that Domhnall Gleeson could be involved, after he publicly told Taylor he wanted to appear in a music video when they appeared on the Graham Norton Show together.

It all kicked off when Cillian Murphy, who was also on the show that night, couldn't resist joking about Domhnall's dance performance in his show The Paper.

Domhnall laughed if off, and admitted he'd love to show off his moves in one of Taylor's music videos.

However, it turns out it sparked inspiration for the star, who went on to invite everyone on the show that night to get in on the fun for her Opalite video.

Releasing some behind the scenes insights into the making of it as she announced its release today, she said: "My favorite part about writing is that first spark of an idea."

"It can happen at any time, for any reason. The idea for the Opalite music video crash landed into my imagination when I was doing promo for The Life of a Showgirl. I was a guest on one of my favorite shows, The Graham Norton Show".

She went on: "I remember thinking I got ridiculously lucky with the group I was paired with. Cillian Murphy, Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee,  Jodie Smith, and Lewis Capaldi. All people whose work I’ve admired from afar.

"When we were all talking during the broadcast, Domhnall made a light hearted joke about wanting to be in one of my music videos.

"He’s Irish! He was joking! Except that in that moment during the interview, I was instantly struck with an *idea*.

"And so a week later he received an email script I’d written for the Opalite video, where he was playing the starring role"

The Opalite video is out now on Spotify & Apple Music.
