The movie portrays Bundy's story as told from the perspective of his longtime girlfriend Liz, played by Lily Collins.

A picture of domestic bliss, Liz and Ted seem to have it all figured out.

However, it's not long until the authorities arrest Bundy and charge him with a series of horrendous murders.

The movie also stars Kaya Scodelario, from Skins and The Maze Runner trilogy, John Malkovich and Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons.

Speaking about premiering the movie on Sky Cinema the Managing Director of Sky Ireland said, "Our investment in original cinematic productions is an important part of our ongoing strategy."

"This movie is the sort of high-quality entertainment we know our Sky Cinema audiences enjoy."

It looks like we can expect more of these same-day-as-cinema releases from Sky.

Next up is Hotel Mumbai starring Dev Patel also out next month.

EXTREMELY WICKED, SHOCKINGLY EVIL AND VILE is out in cinemas and on Sky Cinema on May 3rd.
