Riverdale season 5
A brand new trailer teasing the return of Riverdale season five has been released.
The series went on a mid-season hiatus earlier this year, and will continue on Netflix later this month.
The trailer opens with a painting of Jughead, sitting on a throne, with a crown on his head.
"I vanished," Cole Sprouse is heard saying in character as Jug.
He added, "Swallowed up by the dark."
Veronica confronts Reggie, who's been acting as her father's right hand man this whole season.
She tells him, "It's not too late to switch sides. Fight with the good guys."
"The bad guys pay better," he retorts.
Speaking of the bad guys, Hiram appears on camera warning Archie, "You might wanna watch your back."
Footage of him shooting someone appears on screen as Archie is heard saying, "I don't want this scumbag arrested."
"I want him hurt," he reveals.
Next we learn Cheryl and her mother have started a, "ministry."
"Precisely what this wicked little town needs," Penelope Blossom chimes in.
So much happens in this trailer, including the return of Josie and the Pussycats.
Meanwhile, Betty's mam is encouraging her to, "just kill him. Kill that monster."
And Toni Topaz welcomes a baby into the world!
