It's reported Tom Hardy will take over as the next James Bond.

If this is true, he'll be the eighth actor to take on the iconic role of 007.

Fans have been trying to guess the next Bond actor ever since it was announced that Daniel Craig was leaving the role.

So far, they've predicted Idris Elba, Richard Madden, Cillian Murphy and Michael Fassbender.

But if the latest reports are true, we can all stop guessing now.

The Vulcan Reporter are adamant Venom actor Tom Hardy has been cast in the role.

They say bosses were expected to announce the news in November.

However, these plans changed after the release for No Time To Die was pushed back until then.

The publication believe the announcement will still be made later this year.

However, they say if No Time To Die is pushed back any further, then it wont come out until early 2021.

The upcoming 25th Bond movie will be Daniel Craig's final outing in the role.
