Rumour has it The Inbetweeners might be storming back onto our screens — and fans are already losing it. It’s been over a decade since we last saw Will, Simon, Jay and Neil stumble their way through cringe-worthy parties, terrible chat-up lines, and the kind of teen disasters we all wish we could forget. But a brand-new deal just cracked open the vault on this iconic British sitcom — and the possibilities are huge.

The buzz started Monday when Banijay UK joined forces with Fudge Park Productions — that’s the company run by original creators Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, the twisted geniuses who gave us the infamous “bus w*nkers” moment and so much more. And now? The rights to The Inbetweeners are officially back in play. That means the door’s open for TV revivals, new films, even stage shows — yes, seriously.

Morris and Beesley didn’t hold back, teasing that it’s “incredibly exciting” to start plotting “more adventures for our four favourite friends (ooh friends)”. Translation? The boys could be back — older, maybe wiser (but probably not), and just as hilariously tragic as ever.

The OG series, which aired from 2008 to 2010, made household names out of Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley and Blake Harrison. It even spawned two mega-hit films — one that took the lads to Malia, and another full of sunburn and humiliation in Australia. But fans have always wanted more, and it looks like they might just get it.

Insiders say there are already “exciting conversations” happening behind the scenes. Banijay’s boss Patrick Holland called the creators’ new vision “infectious” — suggesting the next version of The Inbetweeners could appeal to die-hard fans and a new generation ready to cringe.
