Pitch Perfect's Skylar Astin has joined the cast of Grey's Anatomy in a recurring role.
He'll play a, 'charming and handsome,' environmental science graduate.

According to Deadline, his character is named Todd Earnes.
Todd has a PhD in environmental sciences, 'and loves a good spreadsheet,' according to the outlet.
He's described as, 'Charming and handsome with a gentle soul.'

Todd's sister is a pregnant patient at Grey Sloan Memorial.
And he'll be making his first appearance in the March 24th episode of season 18 titled Put the Squeeze on Me.
