The Oscars will be streamed live on YouTube from 2029.
The annual film awards will be available to the video-sharing platform's 2-billion users for free - across the world.
The partnership runs for four years.

The Academy Awards has been broadcast by US TV network ABC since 1976.
It will continue to broadcast the event until 2028, which will mark the 100th Academy Awards.
The YouTube coverage include the usual red carpet coverage and behind-the-scenes content.
The partnership also include a sneak peak at the Governors Ball and nominations announcements.
It will be free to viewers around the world on YouTube, and to YouTube TV subscribers in the US.
