Netflix Nearing Multimillion-Dollar Deal To Make 2 Knives Out Sequels

Netflix are reportedly nearing a multimillion-dollar deal to make two Knives Out sequels.

According to Deadline, it'll be worth around $400 million, making it one of the biggest streamer movie deals.

The 2019 film follows the death of crime novelist Harlan Thrombey.

The circumstances surrounding his passing are mysterious, and everyone in his family is a suspect.

It's up to renowned Detective Benoit Blanc to uncover the truth.

It features an all-star ensemble including Don Johnson, Christopher Plummer, Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ana de Armas, Michael Shannon, Toni Collette, and Lakeith Stanfield.

Knives Out, which cost $40 million to make, turned in over $311 million worldwide, according to IMDB.

Deadline report Craig will reprise his role as Blanc for the upcoming sequels.

While original writer Rian Johnson will return to write, direct, and produce.

These movies are the perfect segue for Craig into a brand new franchise after wrapping up on James Bond.

The upcoming 007 installment No Time To Die has been pushed back numerous times amid the pandemic.

Its latest scheduled release is set for October.

Deadline report filming on the first of the Knives Out sequels will commence in Greece this June.
