Meghan Markle to narrate Disneynature movie

Disney+ have announced Meghan Markle will narrate their brand new Disneynature movie Elephant.

They shared the news on the streaming service's official Twitter account last night.

This will mark Meghan's first role since she walked away from Suits to join the Royal family in 2018.

Her new movie follows the story of African elephant Shani and her son Jomo making their way across the Kalahari Desert.

'Led by their great matriarch, Gaia, the family faces brutal heat, dwindling resources and persistent predators.'

The walk will see them, 'follow in their ancestor’s footsteps on a quest to reach a lush, green paradise.'

The trailer for Elephant dropped alongside Natalie Portman's Dolphin Reef last night.

However, Meghan unfortunately doesn't feature in the preview clip.

And it looks like this could just be the start of Meghan's new career in acting.

The Simpsons producer Al Jean told The Sun that they'd love to have her voice herself in an episode.

'We’ve talked about Harry and Meghan. I hear she wants to do voice-over work. So if they’re reading this, give us a call!'

Elephant is due out April 3rd.
