Lucas Bravo chats to SPIN's Sarina Bellissimo

SPIN's Sarina Bellissimo caught up with Lucas Bravo for a chat about his new film Ticket to Paradise this week.

And of course, she couldn't go the entire interview without quizzing the Gabriel actor on the new season of Emily in Paris.

"Since my character dies in the first episode..." he joked with Sarina.

His Ticket to Paradise co-star Billie Lourd chimed in, "It's a really gruesome murder scene."

"Yeah, he gets baguetted down!" Lucas joked as he motioned swinging a baguette.

The Gabriel actor eventually answered, "I can't say anything. Honestly, they would murder me."

"Story of my career, honestly," Billie added.

Sarina asked the pair how they keep such big secrets, and Lucas pointed out it's not as big a production as Spider-Man, but it's still not easy.

Billie and Lucas play Wren and Paul in Ticket to Paradise; the film that reunites George Clooney and Julia Roberts as divorced couple David and Georgia.

They team up and travel to Bali to stop their daughter Lily from making the same mistake they think they made 25 years ago - marrying someone they just met.

Billie plays Lily's best friend and Lucas is Georgia's new boyfriend.

In their interview with Sarina, Billie and Lucas share why they had to deal with a major case of imposter syndrome when they were cast.

They also talk about how much fun it was to work on this film and so much more.

Sarina also spoke to Kaitlyn Dever and Maxime Bouttier who play Lily and Gede in the film.

They shared how they felt when they found out their onscreen parents/in-laws were going to be played by George and Julia.

And how covid and zoom almost ruined Maxime's chance of landing the role.

Sarina also had the privilege of interviewing Ol Parker, who wrote and directed the movie.

Ol shared why this is the, "right time, right place and right circumstance," for rom-coms to make a comeback, and why he never considered anyone but George and Julia for these roles.

Ticket to Paradise is in Irish cinemas this Friday, 16th September.
