Isabelle Fuhrman, who played Esther in the original, will reprise her role for this new movie.

The upcoming film is called Orphan: First Kill.

According to Deadline, it follows the story of a girl named Leena Klammer, who escapes an Estonian psychiatric facility.

She travels to America by impersonating the missing daughter of a wealthy family.

Leena lives a brand new life as a young girl named Esther.

But it's not as simple as that.

As quoted by Deadline, she finds herself pitted, 'against a mother who will protect her family at any cost.'

10 Things I Hate About You actress Julia Stiles has reportedly joined the cast.

While The Boys' William Brent Bell is directing.

It's understood filming in Canada has already begun.

The first movie

The original Orphan movie came out in 2009.

It follows the story of a couple who adopt a 9-year-old girl following the loss of their baby.

They soon discover she's not who she says she is.

According to IMDB, Orphan took in $77,912,251 worldwide at the Box Office following its release.

A release date for First Kill hasn't been announced.
