Last night's episode of 'I'm A Celebrity' saw the campmates adjusting to life in the jungle, Anne and Rita having a heart to heart and Emily Atack take on viper snakes in a bush tucker trial.

Just your typical Tuesday night in the Australian Jungle.

If you missed out on last night's episode, here's what happened;

Camp Life

Anne Hegerty didn't sleep very well following the yellow teams arrival at the less luxurious 'Snake Rock'.

She couldn't help but focus on the noise of the bugs all night.

While over in Croc Creek, Nick remarked that their first night was very wet; “one of the weird things about being in a rain forest is that it rains a lot so our first night was very wet.”

Harry seemed to settle in quite well when he noticed the similarities between life in the jungle and life at home; “Even at home I enjoy a cold shower and always before I go to bed I have a cold shower. It makes you feel good. It’s something I do a few times a day because it makes me feel better.”

This inspired Sair and John to also have a shower but John wasn't as convinced as Harry was.

Harry later told his fellow campmates a story about the time Prince Harry said hello to him and he didn’t recognise him.

He also talked about the time he met Princess Beatrice and didn’t realise who she was either.

Back in Snake Rock, they played a quiz with Anne. Fleur said of Anne's brilliance, “It’s like having google right here, she’s unreal.”

Bush Tucker Trial

This is what we live for every night. The Bush Tucker Trial.

Emily Atack had been chosen to take part in the trial which was called 'The Viper Pit'.

Dec explained that Emily had to climb into the mouth of the Viper and make her way underground into a series of chambers that are buried in the belly of the snake.

Holly said, “Your aim is to find five stars that are hidden inside the first three chambers. Then you’ll reach the fourth and final chamber and for each minute you stay inside you’ll win a star – a maximum of five stars up for grabs.”

Dec confirmed Emily had 10 stars in total to win and that the first five stars would feed Croc Creek, the sixth star would feed Emily and send her to join Croc Creek as a new campmate and the final four stars would be for Snake Rock.

Emily was obviously devastated that she would have to leave Snake Rock if she did well.

The bush tucker trial then began as Emily crawled into the viper pit and into the first chamber which contained two stars alongside two jungle python snakes.

Emily easily got the first star and moved on to the next chamber which had one star inside and two jungle python snakes lurking around.

The snake went for Emily's hand which sent Dec and Holly into panic as Holly remarked, “Oh my god, he just went for her. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.”

Even still, Emily wanted to get the star so tried to put her hand back into the hole to get the star but the snake went for her hand again and Emily pulled it out quickly just as the snake joined her in the chamber corridor.

Dec & Holly told Emily to move on to the next chamber and away from the snake.

Emily moved on to the next two chambers and easily picked up another three stars. She then entered the final chamber which contained water and a mixture of forty snakes.

Emily had to endure lying in the chamber as snakes moved around her and each minute she stayed there she got another star.

She soon got the sixth star which meant she’d get an evening meal and now move to Croc Creek.

She stayed strong as more snakes came into the chamber and got a seventh star which at that point the chamber started to move and her final few minutes would be in the dark.

Emily managed to brave the final few minutes in the chamber and picked up the final two stars.

Holly was shocked at how well Emily did. She said, “OMG, you are a legend.”

Holly informed Emily that she’s just broken a Jungle record as the Trial she’d just completed had the most snakes ever in 'I’m A Celebrity' history. That's fifty snakes.

Dec confirmed Emily got nine out of ten stars and would now be going to Croc Creek.

Emily later arrived at Croc Creek to meet her new campmates who made her feel very welcome while back home in Snake Rock they were given a jungle laminate explaining what had happened.

Anne and Rita's Heart To Heart

Anne opened up about her autism with her campmates;

“It’s also an autistic thing when you’re trying to work out what to do. I have to line up the mirror neurones up in my head and go this, this, this… It doesn’t have to be the same all the time but I actually have to work it out beforehand.”

Rita said in the Bush Telegraph, “I had read about Anne’s autism and of course she’s sitting trying to process all these new surroundings."

"I get it completely. She’s trying to figure out what the hell she’s doing here and how to move forward and she’s obviously started to get a bit of routine now because she’s happier."

Anne admitted she hadn't known about her autism until she was 45 back in 2003.

She said in the Bush Telegraph, “I didn’t raise the autism issue… but if someone else raises it, I make it quite clear that I’m happy to talk about it."

Rita said, “I know one of the characteristics of a lot of autistic people is not picking up on social cues.  You don’t seem to have that. You don’t at all.”

Anne replied, “I hope I don’t. That’s something I worked on as a teenager. I was absolutely useless at it.”

Rita added, “So is it more a case of you’ve had to go, I should feel like this, so I should act like this because that’s how I’m supposed to react like now.”

Anne replied, “Yeah I’m actually perfectly happy for the rest of you to be building the fire and boiling water but then I just sort of think come on Anne pull your weight."

“That’s what I mean so you do pick up on social cues, definitely,” Rita asserted.

Anne told the Bush Telegraph, “I really appreciate how nice and sympathetic they’ve been to me and how supportive they are and it was nice that they said I actually pick up on social cues because I’m never quite sure that I actually do so that was nice to know.”

Dingo Dollar Challenge

Fleur and Anne took on the Dingo Dollar Challenge. They found a barrel, some garden gnomes, flowers, a hose and a maze all surrounded by a white picket fence.

There were instructions for the campmates which read, “One of you gnomes will not stay dry; As you fill the barrel to keep the water high; Moving those balls is the aim of the game; If they exit the maze you’ll have hidden dollars to claim.”

Anne and Fleur – dressed as gnomes – had to fill a watering can by pulling a lavatory chain which showered water over them; then fill a barrel with the water; which in turn fed a high pressure hose.

They had to point the hose to a maze containing balls and guide the balls out of the maze. When they had managed three, the dollars would be released.

Eventually they managed to complete the challenge and went off to the Outback Shack.

Kiosk Kev

The two campmates, still dressed as gnomes found, the Outback Shack. They were able to spend the dollars on scones with jam and clotted cream or crudités with hummus.

But first, Rita and James back at Snake Rock had to answer the day’s question correctly which was ‘According to a recent survey, what percentage of children aspire to become a Youtuber – a) 75% or b) 65%'.

Whilst James and Rita said the latter, Anne and Fleur debated the answer with Anne pointing out that ‘’it’s the sort of question they don’t ask unless the answer is really extreme, that’s the way people set questions.”

They came to the conclusion that the answer was 75%.

Unfortunately for them, it was Rita and James’ answer that counted but as it was incorrect, Kiosk Kev slammed shut the Outback Shack and Fleur and Anne returned to Snake Rock empty handed.

Get A Grip

Four members of Croc Creek had to take part in a challenge which saw them compete to win Snake Rock’s luxury items.

John, Nick, Malique and Sair had to stand around a rock in a cavern whilst pushing down on a ‘crystal’.

The action of pushing the crystal made it light up. If they stopped pushing and the light went out, then they would lose a luxury item.

Of course, this being the jungle, they were joined by some Jungle critters too.

Dinner

Both camps had wallaby wings for dinner, Snake Rock having less due to Emily not winning all the stars.

The Snake Rock campmates were all given their luxury items with the exception of Rita because Sair who was playing for hers hadn’t successfully completed the Get A Grip Challenge.

Anne’s was a hand held fan; Fleur’s was hair cream and James’ was moisturiser.
