In case you've been living under a rock, Thanos is the biggest supervillian in the Marvel Cineamatic Universe.
He's been causing problems since the first Avengers movie in 2012.
Ever since his people on Titan wound up extinct, Thanos believed the universe was overcrowded.
His plan was to collect the six infinity stones and use them to erase half of all life.
In order to collect the stones he built himself a metal glove, or gauntlet.
And unfortunately at the end of Avengers: Infinity War he succeeds in his plan.
With all six stones secure in the gauntlet, Thanos snaps his fingers and half of all life turns to dust.
But of course the Avengers story wasn't going to end there!
Our favourite superheroes returned last week in Avengers: Endgame to attempt to defeat Thanos once and for all.
To celebrate the movie's release Google have done something pretty cool.
Here's how you can check it out:
- Google the word 'Thanos'
- Click on the infinity gauntlet at the top right hand side of the screen
Avengers: Endgame is smashing box offices records already.
The movie opened with an incredible $1.2 billion weekend.
