Dancing On Ice want Maura Higgins

It was reported earlier this year that Dancing On Ice bosses had signed Love Island winner Amber Gill up for next year's series.

However, it's since been revealed that they've decided to drop her for Maura Higgins instead.

'It was looking hopeful for Amber but Maura pipped her to the post with her sense of humour and personality.'

A source tells The Sun, 'Dancing On Ice producers were always going to sign a Love Island star for next year’s series...'

'And they wanted a girl this time after having two guys in the past.'

'During Maura’s time in the villa, her ballroom dancing beau Curtis Pritchard showed her some choreography skills.'

Maura will follow in the footsteps of former islanders Wes Nelson and Kem Cetinay who both took on the dancing contest.

Kem appeared on the 2017 series of Love Island and made it to the Dancing On Ice semi finals.

Following a skate off with Max Evans, Kem was voted off the show.

Wes Nelson starred on last year's series of Love Island and made it to the finals of Dancing On Ice this year.

However, he lost out on the trophy to James Jordan.

Perhaps Maura might take home the trophy.
