Page Six reported last week that he wouldn't be back for the new HBO Max series.

Ever since, fans have been flooding his social media, begging him to reconsider.

One Instagram user reminded Chris that his fans need him, and most importantly, Carrie needs him.

Sarah Jessica Parker played his love interest, Carrie, in the show.

Chris responded to this comment, 'well if page six says it... it must be true,' alongside a winking emoji.

Another person said, 'Dear Mr North... why for heaven's sake you are not playing my beloved Mr Big??'

The actor replied, 'Everything changes — including announcements in the rags'

He's also been responding with the winking emoji, and the cool emoji to other questions.

Sounds to us like he could be making a return after all. But we'll just have to wait and see.

The other stars

Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will all reprise their roles in And Just Like That.

Kim Cattrall however, will not be returning as Samantha Jones.

As for the show's men, it looks like David Eigenberg could reprise his role as Miranda's love interest, Steve Brady.

A representative told Page Six that the actor, 'is in negotiations to appear in the series.'

One thing's for sure though, Willie Garson will be back to play Carrie's bestie, Stanford Blatch.
