Ever wondered how the Royal Family spend their Christmas?

Most families have a few special traditions every year for the festive season and The Royal Family is no different.

Here's what goes down at Christmas with the Royals.

The festive activities are only for the royals and their significant others.

Yes, While Kate's family has never been asked to join in during the holidays. The Queen broke protocol this year to invite Meghan's Mother, Doria Ragland.

They celebrate at Sandringham House in Norfolk.

The Queen arrives first on the 17th December followed by the rest of the Royal Family.

The real festivities don't start until Christmas Eve.

They all decorate the tree together

The royal kids get to add a few decorations of their own.

Both Harry and William play an annual game of soccer. They team up with the locals in the colours of their favourite teams.

They exchange gifts on Christmas Eve

Why wait until Christmas day? The Royals open their gifts on Christmas Eve.

They hold a formal black-tie dinner

It seems that Christmas Eve is their real Christmas. They also hold a black-tie Christmas dinner.

The Family attend Church on Christmas Morning

They're normally snapped walking into the church as they mingle with the people who gathered to see them.
