Nutella's had a lot of bad press lately. Apparently, the high palm oil content is doing our health no good. But, for the Nutella lovers whose hearts were temporarily broken, there is another way to show your appreciation for the sweet spread: by using it as a beauty treatment.

For starters, a salon in the UAE began using it with condensed milk (you know that stuff that turns to insanely good caramel sauce when it's boiled?) to create an awesome brunette hair dye that leaves your hair with a caramel tint. Huda Beauty chronicled the dye job on her Instagram. And if you're not prepared to make a major brunette commitment, it fades after about two to three weeks and the hint of caramel stays. Dream!

The other big use of this chocolatey, hazelnutty dream is because it delivers maximum shine and treats damaged hair. Thing is, you might have to stop yourself from eating it as you apply it. According to Pretty52, the same salon, Abed & Samer are making use of all kinds of sweet treats for haircare, thanks to the oils within them.

Nutella, would you rather eat it or slather it all over your mane?
