Chappell Roan has spoken out after claims that a security guard intimidated a young fan during her stay in São Paulo.
The situation first surfaced when footballer Jorginho alleged that Roan had sent security to confront his wife and daughter after the child briefly approached the singer at their hotel.

Roan has now addressed the incident, saying the guard in question was not part of her personal team and acted independently. She stressed that she wasn’t even aware of the interaction at the time.
“I didn’t even see a woman and a child… I did not ask this security guard to go talk to them,” she explained.
The singer also apologised to the family, adding that she was saddened if they felt uncomfortable and made it clear she has no issue with fans or children approaching her.
The incident took place while Roan was in Brazil for Lollapalooza Brazil, where she later thanked her crew and security team during her performance.
The situation has sparked debate online, but Roan’s response aims to clear up her side of what happened.
