Alex Warren has revealed he feared his career might be over following a chaotic performance at the Grammy Awards.
The 25-year-old singer experienced major technical issues during his set, leaving him unable to properly hear himself on stage. Speaking afterwards, Alex admitted the moment felt “horrifying” and left him convinced he’d face heavy backlash.

“I thought everyone hated me,” he said, explaining how overwhelming the situation felt in such a high-pressure environment.
Despite rehearsals going perfectly, everything went wrong during the live broadcast. Alex described how his in-ear monitors malfunctioned, with sound blasting in one ear while the other cut out completely, leaving him disoriented mid-performance.
His team attempted to fix the issue in real time, but nothing worked — forcing him to push through the performance with distorted audio and echoing feedback.
However, the reaction afterwards wasn’t what he expected. Instead of criticism, Alex said he was met with support from both fans and industry figures, helping ease his fears about the impact on his career.
