Barnardos National Collection Day is back on Friday 15th September and they are teaming up with Dell EMC in towns and cities across Ireland.
It is hard to believe there are 2973 children in Ireland that are currently affected by homelessness. These children are vulnerable and often invisible but Barnardos are trying to change this and you can do your bit by supporting them this Friday the 15th!
The children Barnardos help are facing situations no child should be faced with. They are living in hotels, emergency accommodation units and in overcrowded situations. Unlike normal children they don’t have a place to play or anywhere to do their homework.
Barnardos want to provide these children with brighter futures and attempt to provide stability among all the chaos they are surrounded by. They do this through services like breakfast and after school clubs, early years and family support services.
To donate to the extremely worthy charity you can give directly to the volunteers on the day or you can text ‘BARNARDOS’ to 50300 to donate €4.
