The Half on the Head (Kerryhead Half Marathon & 10k Run) takes place in Ballyheigue, County Kerry on Saturday, June 16th
Ballyheigue is situated on one of the most breathtaking parts of the Wild Atlantic Way, voted Europe’s most scenic driving route. The Half Marathon takes you around the rugged coast of Kerryhead, Starting in Ballyheigue village you will make your way along country roads and lanes by the Shannon Estuary. The route then loops back to Tralee Bay with stunning views of Mount Brandon and Banna Strand to its finish at the gates of historic Ballyheigue Castle. We are delighted to announce that runners world magazine are coming to participate in and cover this year's race and don't forget the event closes with our prizegiving followed by the renowned after race party and bbq.
