Dromcollogher festival is back for its 78th year here's what is happening over the next ten nights;
Friday 29th June
9pm - Official opening of festival. Balloons released for children.
9pm - Johnny Cash tribute band officially opens our festival in the hall.
Tickets available from Skullers bar committee or at the door on the night.
Saturday 30th June
7pm - Dromcollogher's Fittest Group / Obstacle course in the Mayfair Field.
8.45pm - Monster Bingo in the Hall, €2,000 in prize money. Raffle.
Sunday 1st July
2pm - Funfair in the Square.
3pm - Treasure hunt in the Square for children and adults.
Monday 2nd July
Christy Brosnan / Marky O'Shea 4 mile road race (walkers 7.45pm, runners 8pm). Meeting point in the GAA Grounds. Prizes presented in the Hall.
Tuesday 3rd July
7.30pm - U’10s Blitz in the GAA field.
9pm - Kid's concession night.
Wednesday 4th July
7.30pm - Christy Brosnan memorial kid's sports in the GAA field. Prizes presented in the Square.
9pm - Live band in the Square - “Music Junkies”.
Thursday 5th July
7pm - Newcastle West Fire Service Demonstration in the Square.
8pm - Children's Fancy Dress Parade in the Square.
9pm - Pipe band and adults fancy dress parade in the Square.
Friday 6th July
7pm - Tug of War in the Mayfair Field.
7pm - Dog Show in the Square – Small, medium and large dogs.
9pm - Shane McCormack of the “Voice UK fame” live in the Square.
Saturday 7th July
8pm - Jiving competition in the Square.
9pm - Strictly Come Dancing for children aged 6 - 12 years old.
Sunday 9th July
2pm - Funfair in the Square
5pm - Pig Roast
7pm - Kid's Talent Competition
