Watch: Love Island's Laura Crane Opens Up About Her Diagnosis

Love Island's Laura Crane has opened up about her diagnosis.

The reality star was diagnosed with sepsis earlier this month and has recently appeared on Lorraine to talk about it.

"I was actually quite delirious and had no real concept of time... for the first five days I was in hospital while they were trying to kind of figure out where the infection was, I actually started to get worse."

"It just kept going up and down, my temperature would be really really high and then really really low."

Crane has been keeping her followers up to date on Instagram.

On the 8th November she shared a post confirming that she would finally be going home after ten days in hospital.

"DAY 10 in hospital and your girl has FINALLY been sent home, honestly it has been the worst week of my life.."

DAY 10 in hospital and your girl has FINALLY been sent home, honestly it has been the worst week of my life .. when I fell ill last Tuesday with a temperature never did I think it was about to be a week as scary as it has been . Being someone that never really gets ill, I never thought that something like this would happen to me, however, it has taught me how important it is to listen to your body because it can so quickly turn fatal if you don’t look for the vital signs. It’s going to be a slow recovery, but I am so grateful to have had the people I had around me this week that spent countless hours in my hospital room wiping my tears and making sure I didn’t run away when I was told I had to stay day after day I will be forever grateful to the doctors and nurses that looked after me you are the true angels, the hours that you work and the jobs that you do are incredibly difficult and should get more recognition for what you do because you’re literally life savers THANKYOU 💕 And to all of you that sent messages they did not go unnoticed I feel so blessed to have the support and love of you all. I have learnt so much this week In so many ways I’ll be back stronger than ever 👌🏼💕
