Strictly Come Dancing professionals Joanne Clifton and Oksana Platero have left Strictly Come Dancing.

Joanne has reportedly left the show to focus on musical theatre as she is currently on tour with Thoroughly Modern Millie. She has been dancing on Strictly since 2014 and won the series last year with Ore Oduba.

Oksana joined the show only last year and according to the BBC said: "I had an unforgettable time working alongside such amazing dancers and an even better time with Judge Rinder. It was an opportunity of a lifetime and I will never forget it."

Three new pro-dancers have been hired to replace them, along with Natalie Lowe who announced her departure earlier this year.

The new additions to the BBC show are Amy Dowden from Wales, Dianne Buswell from Australia, and Nadiya Bychkova from Ukraine.
