Russell Brand has been accused of sexual assault by four women.

Russell posted a video to YouTube in which he denied all allegations against him and claims that all his previous relationships were "always consensual".

While he admitted to being "promiscuous" during the height of fame, he firmly denied any criminal aspect to his behaviour.

This all came to light following a joint investigation by the Sunday Times and Channel 4’s Dispatches documentary, In Plain Sight which aired on Saturday.

Russell's alleged victims' claims from 2006 - 2013 go from rape to sexual assault, to emotional and physical abuse and even getting one to brush their teeth until their gums bleed.

The Times and Sunday Times say they have now been contacted by several other women since the documentary aired on Saturday.

Staff at the BBC also warned bosses about Russell's behavior at least three times. Saying he had exposed himself to a female employee and had sex with guests on his radio shows.

Katy Perry was married to him for 14 months until Russell famously dumped her by text moments before she went on stage.

Speaking to Vogue after her divorce, the singer said: "At first when I met him he wanted an equal, and I think a lot of times strong men do want an equal, but then they get that equal and they’re like, I can’t handle the equalness.

"He didn’t like the atmosphere of me being the boss on tour. So that was really hurtful, and it was very controlling, which was upsetting. she continued.

Meanwhile, the comedian has been dropped by his talent agency and his wife Laura Gallacher has deleted her Instagram account.
