PinkPantheress has received an honorary doctorate from England's University of Kent!
The singer dropped out of college with one year left on her degree to pursue her growing music career and it looks like it was the right decision!
She was one of eight people to receive the doctorate at a ceremony in the Canterbury Cathedral where she was recognized for her 'contributions and achievements in music in the digital age'.
Taking to the podium she spoke of the struggles for artists to study music within the college system saying, "We've seen music departments lose funding all over the country though," she said. "It's never been more important to give young people access to different artistic outlets … Trust yourself and lean on those who support you."
