This sounds so cool.

Pete Davidson is heading space next week in a rocket built by Jeff Bezos' company, Blue Origin.

It'll be the rocket's 20th flight but only the fourth with a human crew.

The launch is set to take place on Wednesday, March 23rd with the rocket reaching heights of roughly 66 miles above Earth.

What will happen on the flight?

Based on previous rocket trips, it's expected that Pete will have to arrive at Blue Origin's astronaut village in west Texas four days before the flight. He'll experience two days of astronaut training.

Three minutes into the flight, those on board the flight will experience zero gravity and will begin to float around the capsule.

The rocket reaches its highest point away from Earth a minute later, and the descent to Earth starts another two minutes later.

From lift-off to landing, the entire flight experience lasts a total of ten to twelve minutes.

Pete will be the third celebrity to take part in a Blue Origin flight. Star Trek's William Shatner and Good Morning America host Michael Strahan have both made the trip before him.

He'll be joined on board by five paying customers, including  a "world explorer" who has visited all 193 UN-recognised countries and a former NASA manager.

In January, it's reported that Pete and his girlfriend Kim Kardashian attended a dinner party at Jeff Bezos' home.
