Normal People's Paul Mescal has shed some light on his relationship with girlfriend Phoebe Bridgers.
He's been accompanying her for parts of her world tour, and it sounds like they've been having a ball!

In an interview with Bustle, Paul said, "I really, really enjoy being around her and her band and her friends."
"It’s also great to get to see a country that I’m not familiar with."
"I really like the Pacific Northwest. Love that neck of the woods, like Portland. New York."

Paul has often been spotted holding Phoebe's dog Maxine as he watches her perform live.
He told Bustle tour life really suits the black pug.

"She’s excellent on flights. Excellent with noise. People love her," he said.
"She’s like a great extension of us, in representing well in every social interaction."
How they met
Paul and Phoebe have been dating since 2020 and fans are loving them together.

He confirmed he was in a relationship that year, but he wouldn't say with whom.
He told British GQ that she really helped him through his sudden fame and he would have been lost without her.
'To have someone to lean on through such a mad, mad time has been invaluable,' he said.

Shortly after this interview, he appeared in the music video for Phoebe's track Savior Complex, directed by Fleebag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Then, in February 2021, Phoebe shared a picture of him on her Instagram Stories, wishing him a Happy Birthday.
And as if that wasn't proof enough, they were spotted cosying up at a star studded Halloween party last October.

Last November, they made their red carpet debut at the LACMA Art + Film Gala.
