Offset is pushing back after a viral screenshot claimed he posted — and deleted — an Instagram Story saying “my kid lol” in reference to Cardi B’s newborn son with NFL star Stefon Diggs.

The image spread across social media over the weekend, sparking instant chaos and leading many to believe Offset was taking a dig at Cardi’s new baby. Cardi publicly reacted, convinced Offset was trying to get under her skin, and the situation escalated fast.

But Offset says the supposed Story was completely fabricated. According to a rep for the Migos rapper, he never wrote or posted the “my kid lol” message, and the screenshot circulating online is fake. His team says the drama erupted because Cardi responded to misinformation, turning a false post into a full-blown meltdown.

No one knows who created the fake Story or why it went viral, but the incident added fresh tension between the former couple at a sensitive moment.

Cardi, who recently welcomed her fourth child and first with Diggs, hinted that the situation left her uneasy, stressing that online drama can feel frighteningly real.

Cardi and Offset, who secretly married in 2017, share three children together. She filed for divorce in 2024, and while they’ve publicly separated, moments like this show their breakup remains very much in the spotlight.
