When the Love Actually sequel broadcasts on Friday 24th of March savour it - because that's probably the only sequel we're going to get.

Director Richard Curtis has kind of smashed the hopes and dreams of fans worldwide, as he basically said that there won't be a full length sequel of the movie made.

Speaking to Radio Times, Curtis said 'I've always been sure I wouldn't do a sequel – but I had sometimes thought it would have been fun to see what some of the characters were up to.'

He added that although it's fifteen years later the characters may not have changed that much. He said 'Fifteen years later you can be pretty sure that Bill Nighy's Billy Mack would still be releasing dodgy records.'

With Red Nose Day just over a week away, Curtis said that a sequel wasn't always at the forefront of his mind. '

I thought about the night of Comic Relief. Over the years I've done specials of Mr Bean and Blackadder and The Vicar of Dibley and I suddenly thought I could do a little special of Love Actually.'

But there's been no indication that Curtis wants to do a full length sequel. But one thing that is certain, Hugh Grant WILL be dancing in the sequel for Comic Relief.

Yes, all of this please.
