The photographer refused to leave

Despite Laura's request to give them some space, the photographer continued to ask questions.

She continues, 'I said we were mourning a friend and could he allow us space.'

'He said 'can you give me a reaction. It's a public space and I can take pictures if I want'.'

'I have never courted the paparazzi but understand at work events it comes with the territory.'

The Love Island host admits, 'But this morning was too much. Iain filmed him and he didn't like it.'

'I don't like attacking people but we need to call people out when they do things like this.'

She wraps up, 'Iain and I just wanted some privacy.'

The footage

Laura shared the footage taken by her boyfriend to social media.

In the video the man is heard asking, "Have you lost a recent friend?"

Laura is shocked by the question and exclaims, "Oh my god."

Laura shared a brief synopsis of what's just happened in the video's Twitter caption.

'I asked the photographer to please stop taking pictures as I hadn’t seen my boyfriend since our friend passed away and we wanted some privacy'

In a further post, Laura writes, 'It doesn’t matter who specifically the photographer was I posted about earlier.'

She points out, 'He could be one of so many.'

'But it is a culture that has got out of hand and it is only by showing it, we can change it.'
