Kevin documents his recovery

It seems the comedian understands how lucky he was to have survived such a deadly incident.

He documents the painful physical therapy he's been enduring in a video posted online.

"Basically what you realise is that you're not in control..."

"No matter how much you think you're in control, you're not in control."

The first video he shows us is a clip of himself struggling to get out of his hospital bed.

With the help of two nurses, he holds himself up using a walker.

We then see him slowly but surely regain his strength throughout the video.

He narrates, "You know when God talks, you got to listen."

"I swear life is funny because some of the crazy things that happen to you end up being the thing that you needed most."

We see Kevin working out his muscles and talking to doctors in the nearly two minute video.
